Children’s Remembrance Service at Norton Sports Complex

Registered Charity Number 1212037

The cannon, war horse and dog made their appearance. The field of poppies was quite a sight to behold.

Thanks to the Veterans and the team at Norton Sports Charity for the arrangements that pulled the event together. Lovely to see the Scouts, Guides, Sea Scouts and schools at the event. Thanks to the leaders of the organisations for getting a solid turnout.

A reminder of where Sheds came from!

Dennis was treated to a supervisor’s coat by BrianH

Carting the cannon away. Kevin and Liam

All BrianH’s own work

Dave Lawn’s bowl with rings

Tony working on the big Fox lathe. Concentration.

But lathes = plenty to clean up

Even a cinema! Watching a riveting documentary

1000 Faces

Recently published by UKMSA. A book of rather fewer than 1000 (!) faces of Sheds. The stories were composed in 2021 soon after Norton Shed started. Hence only Railway Dave and Graham appear from Norton. However there were 3 others (including two double page stories) from Whitby district – Marie, Elaine and Paula (3 women in fact!!)

A plaque for the Shed. Testing out 3D printing approaches.

Is it a scan or a scam?

Have you seen this man? Approach with care.

See the black hole?

As scanned with hand held stereo camera. Looks like a death mask.
