Steve Dancsics, the Wheelchair Shedder (though we have 2 now) is someone who has helped make the Shed what it is.
What it is, is inclusive of all types of people who need the Doing, Being, Belonging and Becoming that the Shed can offer. Steve is very good at welcoming first timers to the Shed, largely because (he says) the Shed has helped him so much.
Today at the Catalyst 2026 Conference Steve received one of the 10 Awards – in his case for inclusion.

Whitby Men’s Shed is slated
Aidan in Whitby is ahead of us with the laser engraving. But Mike Greene (the Struggling Potter) has ours working fully now on our system. Maybe we invite Aidan over.
