The objects of the CIO (its purpose) are:
To the public benefit, the preservation and promotion of health and wellbeing among adults, primarily men, at risk of social isolation,
. . . . living in and around Norton in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees,
. . . . by providing facilities that support social interaction, skills learning and expertise sharing,
. . . . realised by conversation, workshop activities, crafts and hobbies in an atmosphere of peer support.
It’s doing what it says on the tin.
