Get Going, Get Doing (plus now Stratford Shed in Victoria AU)

Lots of bits going on this morning . . .

Pat made some wedges for a friends wobbly table. Brian did some drilling and worked on the post for the bird table. Mick and Graham worked to put wheels onto a morticing machine.. (involving a bit of problem solving) and Colin worked on turning a new bowl. We found time for a cuppa too.

Out of all proportion . . .

Take a look at Stratford-on-Avon Shed outside Sale to the east of Melbourne Australia. It is not untypical of the size of physical shed used by Aussie Sheds. Probably 10x the size of Norton Shed’s portacabin.  It is open two long mornings a week and has  roughly 10 regular attenders and a friendly, welcoming bunch of Shedders.

For now here are some photos from a brief visit Graham and Joan made, for now. Look at the machinery and it will remind you of the good quality kit we’ve collected from Preston Hall.

Mess for socialising with a mezzanine floor above for storage.

A busy community notice board.
