Miscellanea

Thank you . . .

The first bit of miscellanea is a thank you from St. Mary’s Church on the Green for work done to add to the number of shop window displays for the Christmas walk through Norton and for the Shed “Christmas Tree” that went on display in late November in St Mary’s itself.

Apparently it was a very popular display with children kneeling  to look through the door! The suggestion was made  to include a miniature crib for next year so that the shed has appropriate furniture! A bit of model making for Cavalry Kevin who was one of two Shedders who took the display down.  Their accounts of what the Shed does for them and others to combat isolation was appreciated too.

Doing the model was a great team effort.

Monday was wet, wet, wet

It looked like a lake in the car park!

Just 4 of us but Martin decided he’d like to have a go at making an egg on the lathe. Graham was there to join in a fight with the log.

The outcome was not at all bad and arguably the most egg-like shape of the collection!
